About "An Evening with British Songs"
In 1996, we started this series of recitals to introduce British songs to Japanese audience. Hirohisa Tsuji, tenor has been a leading figure of English singing in Japan through this series and also many concert appearances and teaching while Akane Nakanishi has been active as an vocal accompanist, lecturer and writer about English songs. The series also give concerts by cooperation with music festivals and local organizations.
